About The Founders

United by a shared love for the arts, two creative minds, Otis and Tim, ignited their passion for fashion design, music, film, and the mesmerizing world of perfume aroma at an early stage in their lives. Their artistic journey led them to study Fine Art/Design in the vibrant cities of New York Fashion Institute of Technology and Chicago. Over the course of 18 years, they meticulously honed their skills and expertise in the beauty industry, filmmaking, and playwright.

During this period, Otis embarked on a creative journey of his own, founding the premium  menswear brand, Doco Balmori, in New York. His creations found an esteemed place in select retailers, and he soon seized the attention of Macy's Department Store. Otis assumed an executive role in cosmetics and fragrances, dedicating nearly two decades to this exhilarating venture.

Fate intervened during this extraordinary odyssey, uniting Otis and Tim. Their mutual love for art and fragrance fueled their travels across Europe, where they immersed themselves in the intricate process of perfume development. It was within the rich tapestry of European inspiration that they conceived a vision—an unwavering resolve to transcend the Doco label and give birth to a perfume brand that stands as a powerful testament to their artistic evolution.
